St. Xavier’s Umoid announces vacancies for the following teaching positions in the Hr. Sec School:
# 1. Asst. Teacher in COMMERCE
# 2. Asst. Teacher in ENGLISH

# Candidates should have a Masters’ Degree in the discipline with the requisite percentage.
# They should have a B.Ed. degree or should be enrolled in a B.Ed. programme.

# 1. Fluency in English: It is the ONLY language spoken on campus, both inside and outside the classroom,
# 2. Commitment to the Mission of the institution,
# 3. A willingness to accept additional responsibilities,
# 4. Professionalism and to model the attitudes and behavior expected of the students,
# 5. Sincerity in work, including coming well-prepared to class, completing works in a timely manner, being regular and punctual, etc.
# 6. A willingness to abide by the Service Rules and Regulations that govern Jesuit educational institutions in NE India.

# 1. Staff remunerations are based on the Jesuit-approved salary scale.
# 2. Presently, the minimum starting salary is Rs. 15,000pm.
# 3. Increments may be added based on the candidates additional qualifications and/or job-related experience.
# 4. HRA (House Rent Allowance) of Rs. 1,500 pm to those not provided accommodation on campus, and
# 5. Staff participation in a Staff Benefit Fund programme.
