Nestled in the mountains of northeast India, ST. XAVIER’S UMOID is a Jesuit educational initiative located in the village of Umoid in the South West Khasi Hills District of Meghalaya.
St. Xavier’s Umoid was established in 2018 and presently comprises of a Higher Secondary school, a College, and a Women’s Hostel. These institutions are sponsored and administered by the Jesuits of the Kohima Region.
St. Xavier’s Umoid embraces the Khasi culture as its own and is proud of its Indian identity . It seeks the betterment of all, irrespective of caste, gender, tribe, creed, or socioeconomic status.

Our Location:
St. Xavier’s Umoid is situated on the Shillong-Mawkyrwat Highway, 60 kms from Shillong and 16 kms from Mawkyrwat.
It is 1.4 kms north on the road from Umjarain towards Diwah.
